Director & Producer Sarah Sherman

Sarah Sherman is a screenwriter and director whose first feature film was executive produced by Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass and debuted at the 2020 Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah under the name Thunderbolt In Mine Eye. It was later acquired by HBO Max. Sherman can be seen onscreen opposite It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Glenn Howerton in a television pilot that she wrote and acted in titled Two Dogs. In 2021 Sherman was hired to co-direct family feature Christmas, No Filter (now streaming on Tubi) and she directed short film September, which received the Critics’ Choice Award at Cinema Femme Short Film Fest in 2022. Sherman has moderated and spoken on panels for Slamdance Film Festival and was one of three narrative feature jury members for Slamdance’s 2023 Festival in Park City. Sherman has acted in Verge Theater’s production of F*cking A, as well as Northern Writes and The Boat, Providence at The Blue Slipper Theatre. Recently, Sherman has branched into directing theater, helming Lauren Gunderson’s I and You and now preparing to oversee Annie Baker’s The Aliens in fall 2025. In winter 2025 she directed short film Still Proceeding (about a man processing his wife’s recent sexual assault during Christmas time) which she also wrote, in Livingston, Montana. Sherman enjoys running, writing, acting, snacking on chips and salsa and spending time with her partner Nolan and their two children, Agate and Hermann. She resides in Montana.

Emily Rasmuss is an actor and writer lucky enough to live in Montana. She works and trains with many in the Montana scene and LA’s BGB Studio. Her most recent work onscreen is in Dr. Randall & Sons Travelling Medicine Show. Laurel Moon is her first film as producer. Emily is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Montana Media Coalition and a recipient of a Big Sky Film Grant.

Duke Huston

Duke Huston is a Montana born actor with a background in theater, ballet, and having a head in the clouds. He is now based in Los Angeles where he studies at Berg Studios, cultivating an imaginative and playful approach to acting. As a teen Duke swing danced, fenced (the sword and the regular kind), rode horses, and was a goat midwife.

Gabriel Clark

Clay

Gabriel Clark studied acting at the University of Montana. After college, he started doing theater professionally until about six years ago when he transitioned into film. Since then he has been lucky enough to be part of 23 films. A few of his favorite roles were in Rust, Blood For Dust, Gods Country, and of course, Laurel Moon, where he plays Clay.

Theodore Robinson

Theodore Robinson lent support in both sound and performance for this project, working behind the scenes and appearing in a small on-screen role. He is a Montana-based sound mixer and post-production audio specialist whose past work includes Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia, the films of Peter Vack, and a wide range of commercial and independent projects. He has a background in both documentary and narrative storytelling.

Cari Wilton’s recent acting work includes Dreamin’ Wild with Walton Goggins, Casey Affleck and Beau Bridges. On her days off you’ll find her in the mountains outside of Billings, MT with her husband, son and cheeky puppy. She is grateful to work with exceptional people like the Laurel Moon team.

Bradford Rosenbloom

Bradford Rosenbloom is an OBIE award winning performer, educator, and speaker.  Bradford serves on faculty at Montana State University, where he lectures on the craft of public speaking, embodied performance, and contemplative leadership. As Co-Owner and Co-Artistic Director of Empty ( ) Space Company, Bradford brings a unique and timely perspective, fostering innovative theatrical experiences for all audiences. Additionally, Bradford is pursuing his PhD, where his scholarship investigates the intersection of the voice through the lens of the human heart.
